The City of Belpre and Washington County offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities for the entire family. From boating on the Ohio River to paved walking paths to simply enjoying the view from our beautiful river banks Belpre – Washington County welcomes you!
Picnic shelters can be rented for personal use at the Belpre City Building 715 Park Drive (740-423-7592). Charges are $40.00 for the time slots of 8am to noon, noon to 4pm or 4pm to 8pm daily. Rental agreements and rental fee must be paid before use.
Civitan Park – located at 1600 Blennerhasset Ave is our largest park featuring, a band stand, two picnic shelters, a walking track, four little league baseball fields, one high school and pony league baseball field, basketball, tennis courts, an updated swimming pool and river boating access.
Belpre Public Pool – located at Civitan Park the pool is open to the public the Saturday after school lets out until the Sunday before school begins in August. The pool admission rates will be posted in May for the upcoming year. The pool is also available for rental for private parties.

Age 0-4 FREE, Age 5-18 $4.00, Age 19+ $5.00, Single Pass $85.00, Family Pass (5 members) $150.00 each additional member of the same family is $20.00. The United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley is sponsoring one session of swimming lessons for children under 12 of family season pass holders
Pool Rental first hour $150.00 each additional hour $100.00.

Depot Park – located on Depot Street is the home of the Mid-Ohio Railroad museum, three picnic shelters, basketball court, children’s play area and a walking track. Our best kept secret!!!
Howe’s Grove Park – located at 1614 Washington Blvd next to the Belpre Senior Center is our best example of Urban Forestry. This park features lots of shade, one picnic shelter, newly installed children’s play structure and swings.
