Welcome to Belpre, Let me tell you a little bit about our community. Belpre Ohio, is  the "Gateway to Southeastern Ohio" and the second oldest community in the northwest territory. Rt #50, Corridor D, will bring more economic development in southeastern Ohio. Belpre is a great place to "raise a business".  In the past four years, 40 new businesses have located in Belpre. Belpre is home of Middleton Doll, known world-wide for their dolls.

Belpre offers many opportunities because of it's beautiful setting along the Ohio River and it's historic background.  Our friendly citizens are an asset to business as well as tourism.

Industry plays a large roll in Belpre. We are fortunate to have Kraton Polymers, Nova Chemical, Degussa, Pioneer Casting, Bulkmatic, and International Converter in the area.

Belpre is also known for its Christmas Lighting displays that are the largest and best in southeastern Ohio. Our volunteers make us proud to live in a city where citizen participation makes our city "SHINE"
